About ILC Atlas

Find documents and follow their history

ILC Atlas is a guide to the documents of the International Law Commission. Choose a topic, filter by institution or search by symbol or title. Each card represents a document. Open it to follow official English and French source links and explore recorded connections.

Columns group documents by institutional origin or function. Dates organise the timeline, and compact meeting stacks keep individual records openable. Connections describe documentary relationships, not proof of influence or agreement.

Entirely unofficial

This is an independent project by Niccolò Ridi. It is not an official website of the United Nations or the International Law Commission, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either. Links to official documents do not imply endorsement.

Alpha: a work in progress

This snapshot covers the 66 topics in the ILC Analytical Guide, not every historical document. Dates, titles, classifications and connections may be incomplete or contain errors. Some dates are approximate, and some links open a document lookup page rather than a PDF. Always verify information against the official document.

The Atlas currently supports document discovery. It does not analyse government positions, arguments or reactions.
